This is a dual function remote control working as a 1 metre cable release and up to a 100 metre wireless radio remote release.

The unit is fitted with a high capacity Li-ion battery and a mains charger is included, meaning no more changing flat batteries. The wireless function of the WR-100 works up to 100m in ideal conditions and is perfectly capable of working through obstructions at slightly shorter distances. (Actual range is dependent on local conditions) We have tested these units through entire houses without failure! They do not require line-of-sight.

Seperate activation buttons on the sender unit means that you are able to focus with one, while the second fires the shutter. This enables a wake-up call to a camera that may have gone to sleep with the waiting without the danger of firing a premature frame and scaring off the target species.
